This exciting scholarship, sponsored by Blundstone Australia, is for one member of the Tasmanian performing arts sector whose professional development would be enhanced through financial support for an activity undertaken and completed during the period 1 May 2019 to 30 April 2020.

The scholarship is for a maximum sum of $3,500 and can be used for a variety of purposes including the cost of travel, living and other expenses incurred as part of the approved activity.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. There is no upper age restriction on the scholarship.

  • Applicants must be residents of Tasmania.

  • The professional development opportunity can be achieved via work experience, industry placement, internship, training events or similar activities associated with theatre such as acting, directing, producing, technical work, design or other related theatre fields.

  • Applicants must be registered as an individual member of TCT at the time of application.
