Babel is a site-based durational sound work performed live by members of the community who spoke another language before English.

Choreographer and creator Glen Murray, composer Heath Brown and sound and lighting designer Jason James join with Tasmanians for whom English is not their first language to give voice to a hidden population. Together they have created an embracing, confronting and tender work that evokes contemplation and conversation about language and humanity.

If you understand nothing that is said, you will look for the unsaid and it will speak volumes.
