With some of Hobart’s top performers wearing gorgeous new costumes and singing catchy songs this is the perfect outing for a summer’s day.

January is the time for entertainment in the gardens. This year Big Monkey Theatre presents Lewis Carroll’s classic – Alice In Wonderland. In our usual pantomime style, Alice & the White Rabbit will lead us into a magical world of mayhem and nonsense.

While whispers of monsters and strange night time occurrences grow at the Ashmoleon Museum, Marion puts on the Blue Dress and gets lost in the dark, and in Michael, the charming (and married) publications officer. Her penitence takes her to a seaside resort in Wales, as the art teacher to a posse of sexed-up septuagenarians, and as something of a puzzle to Mark: the resident Australian sommelier.
